Personnel changes

Today at the Palace of the Nation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received responsible persons to announce his decision to appoint them to the positions of GBAO Deputies Chairman and chiefs of law enforcement agencies in GBAO.

By the Executive Order of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Dodikhudozoda Davlatmo Bakhtibek was dismissed from the post of chairman of the GBAO court; Usmonzod Shoghufron was appointed Chairman of the Court of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region.

According to Article 20 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Local Government Bodies”, in agreement with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan all deputy heads of the GBAO are relieved from their posts. Mirzonabotov Alisher Khudoyberdievich, the first deputy Chairman of the GBAO, Amirbekzoda Nazira, Imatshozoda Anwar Imatsho and Nosirov Umedjon were appointed as new deputies.

Personnel changes were also made in the structures of the Interior Ministry in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region.

The head of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the GBAO, heads of divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the city of Khorugh, Shughnon, Rushon, Ishkoshim, Murghob and the head of the SAI of the Department of Internal Affairs of GBAO were dismissed from their posts.

In agreement with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the first deputy Interior Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Alamshozoda Abdurahmon Alamsho was concurrently appointed the head of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the GBAO.

It should be noted that during the working visit to the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, the President of the country Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with the leadership and public active of the region on September 15 and expressed concern on violent crime rates, violation of law, inadequate coordination of the law enforcement agencies in ensuring the rule of law and the elimination of organized crime.

The President of the country set specific tasks before responsible persons, in particular the leadership of the Executive Body of State Authority of the region, internal affairs bodies and courts, and directed them to eliminate shortcomings in the local government activities, law enforcement agencies and to ensure the rule of law and implementation of orders and instructions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
