President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon enacted several bills into laws today. Among the bills are those on “On Compulsory Military Responsibilities and Military Service”, «On training of specialists taking into account requirements of the labor market» as well as “On making changes and Amendments to the Law of Tajikistan “On Protection of Consumer Rights».

The Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Compulsory Military Responsibilities and Military Service”, defines the procedure for military registration, conscription, service and other areas of military service. The law also provides for military service as part of the mobilization call-up reserve, according to which citizens of conscription age for voluntary basis are exempted from military service for a set fee of a certain amount, the amount of which is established by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The amendments made to the laws provide for the bodies of the court, prosecutor’s office, customs, state financial control and fight against corruption and the Execution service to recruit citizens to work in these bodies after completing military service.
