Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The President of the friendly Uzbekistan extended his sincere birthday greetings to head of our state on his birthday and wished him good health and every success in his responsible state activities for the benefit of the people of Tajikistan.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev praised the merits of the President of Tajikistan in the achievements of our country along the path of comprehensive development and strengthening its worthy place in the international arena.

While exchanged views on a wide range of issues pertaining to Tajik-Uzbek cooperation, the two sides expressed their satisfaction over the recent positive results achieved in the development of bilateral relations of strategic partnership and alliance.

They also touched upon on specific issues of international and regional agenda being of mutual interest.
