Today, the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has adopted an appeal in connection with the inciting acts of a terrorist-extremist organization Islamic renaissance party. Here is the text:

“Tourism sphere workers in Tajikistan strongly condemn the establishment of the “National Alliance of Tajikistan” by the malignant treacherous group in Europe, as well as the indecent acts of the leaders of the terrorist-extremist organization Islamic renaissance party and the slanderous statements of its leader M.Kabiri at the conferences of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), aimed at smearing Tajikistan and its people.

It is precisely these wicked gangster groups with the ignoble aim of causing a black spot to the image of Tajikistan and undermining its authority at the international arena that on July 29 of this year, a group of foreign tourists, including citizens of Europe and America, was brutally killed on the Kulob-Dushanbe highway.

By this atrocity, the terrorists-renaissances intended to create an obstacle to a greater visit of tourists to our country. But, fortunately, they did not reach their dirty goals. The number of tourists from different countries of the world arriving in Tajikistan is currently increasing.

The Republic of Tajikistan thanks to the constant support of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the country Emomali Rahmon, makes steady steps for the development of socio-economic spheres, and no force can become an obstacle on this path.

We demand of the OSCE: do not be indifferent to the impious and inflammatory acts of the banned Renaissance party and its followers”.
